I love fields of rich color. These scenes are beautiful to me as they are, but I've really photographed them for reference. Not every photo is a scene I want to paint. Sometimes I just need to be able to see the way a plant grows or look at the perspective of a certain point. These photos are close-ups of detail that might be needed. But whether or not I ever use them for painting, I wanted to keep them around, be able to look at them when I need to.
